HP EliteBook 835 13.3 inch G9 Notebook PC (46W92AV)

Hello,

My laptop is rather new but since the beginning, it has been shutting down unpromptedly from time to time.

At first, it happened whether it was plugged in or on battery.  So I went through several threads on Internet and came to the conclusion that it was an AMD software that caused the problem. So I disabled it as suggested in a thread :

Msconfig > services > disabled:[ ] AMD Crash Defender Service[ ] AMD External Events Utility

It helped reduce the number of occurrences. Now when I'm plugged in, and only when I use only an external monitor with my laptop closed, it never shuts down on its own. But whenever I use the laptop screen, either on battery or when the laptop's plugged in, there's a chance that it shuts down suddenly. Sometimes, I can see the shutting down screen, sometimes every thing is turned off and the screen goes black. So the problem must be related to the screen being used.

Have you ever encountered a similar case ? Is it a hardware problem ?

Thank you in advance for your help.
