Hello,
Laptop model pavilion notebook, I don’t have the model number. I’m having a issue we’re my laptop turns off and turns on. It’s like a loop. I have consulted a local laptop repaire centre. The technician has made a hard drive reset and concluded that the processor is faulty. But, i feel it is not the issue. There is no heating problem either. As I have seen my hard drive has been removed from the laptop and I turned it on it is not having the boot loop it is on and it is not Turing off. Can anyone tell me what is going on with my laptop.
thank you.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- Did you reinstall the operating system on the computer?
- What is the operating system you are using?
Meanwhile, I recommend you run a hardware test on the computer to make sure that all the hardware components on the computer are working fine.
Follow the below steps to run the hardware test.
- Turn on the computer.
- Immediately press the f2 key repeatedly, about once every second, until the UEFI menu opens.
When the UEFI menu opens, select the diagnostic test you want to run, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
NOTE: If you need to stop a diagnostic test, press esc.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If the Notebook is shutting down during the Diagnostic Test then it is not a Windows problem but a Hardware issue
