Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop’s warranty date is incorrect. I purchased the laptop on August 18th, 2025, but the system shows the purchase date as January 17th, 2025, with the warranty expiring on March 23rd, 2026.

HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

So the longer the time elapses from assembly date to the purchase date, the less time remains on the warranty.

Please contact HP customer service beginning at the link below and submit a support request to have the warranty start and end dates adjusted to the date you purchased the notebook.

Hi,

If you're facing issues with your laptop's warranty, you can check and dispute it through HP's official warranty page:

1. Visit the HP Warranty Check page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
2. Enter your laptop's serial number.
3. If the warranty details are incorrect, use the "Dispute" option at the bottom and follow the prompts.

If you need laptop tips or guidance on troubleshooting, this site is quite helpful.

Hope this helps!
