My laptop’s warranty date is incorrect. I purchased the laptop on August 18th, 2025, but the system shows the purchase date as January 17th, 2025, with the warranty expiring on March 23rd, 2026.

We do not work for or represent HP.
HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.
So the longer the time elapses from assembly date to the purchase date, the less time remains on the warranty.
Please contact HP customer service beginning at the link below and submit a support request to have the warranty start and end dates adjusted to the date you purchased the notebook.

I understand you’re having trouble with your warranty. To help get this corrected, please upload a copy of your original invoice on our HP dispute page. Once submitted, the team will review and update the warranty details, usually within 3 to 4 business days (depending on your region).
