So what is going it is the USB flash drive I'm using has windows recovery on it(what was given to me) and every time I try and factory reset the laptop it gives a random error code. I went into the bios and turned off safe mode and legacy and still did not fix it. I also tried checking the hdd/sdd and the memory. The hdd/sdd were fine but the ram was not. So just to make sure it was the ram I took it out of its slot and put it in a new slot and it still failed. I'm assuming why I keep getting error messages is because of ram failure but any suggestions?

Hi:
If the memory failed, you will need to replace it before proceeding.
Memory problems cause many odd things to happen.
I'm surprised the notebook is even booting up.
Many years ago, I was trying to fix a computer for one of my friends, and every time I went to install Windows, it would fail somewhere along the line. Just up and quit.
The PC had two memory chips, so I decided to test them out by removing one at a time.
The first chip I removed, and I went to install Windows, it did the same thing. Failed to install.
So, I reinstalled the first chip I removed and then removed the other one.
Windows installed perfectly. No errors whatsoever, and the PC ran fine.
I suggest that you replace the memory chip to resolve the problem.

If you want an 8 GB chip, you can get one from Amazon:

The service manual indicates the max memory is 2 x 4 GB but I believe that is incorrect.
