HP Recommended

I tried to turn on my laptop to use it and it was just a black screen.

I let my brother look at it who works in cyber security and he said I need to format and reload windows but I do not have a recovery disk from HP and i have searched you support website for information and Im just going in circles getting no where I need my laptop for school classes have already started and i cant afford to but windows 11
