Probook 4320s

Hello I just bought a hp laptop and I expected it to be without a OS so I can install clean windows on it, but as a surprise  it came with the UBUNTU OS which is more annoying than a IOS, but "that's not a problem I said". I prepared a usp with windows 10, tried to turn on BIOS and this wierd hp gray, with a slow responding mouse BIOS came up. When I checked it in the info it's listed as a 2010 BIOS version:68AHH F. 0C.

I then went to boot options, there wasn't any fot booting from USB. OK now I booted BIOS with f9 and another BIOS loaded, but this time it had boot from USB, but it just booted the current OS, I tried again, the same. I looked for solutions and some say the security boot, but there is no security bot anywhere I look.

Some say that hp laptop don't boot from other USB ports than the 1st one, I tried that,  nothing, some say that laptops don't boot from f9 but delete and from then on I just lost hope, so please is there a solution to this madness.

I am very surprised it came with Ubuntu -- as I know some models come with FreeDOS, but I was unaware that others came with Ubuntu.

What you're looking for is not Security Boot or Security Bot, but Secure Boot -- as you have to disable that to allow the PC to boot from something other than the preinstalled OS.

Also, you would have to purchase a Windows license, and that would probably be Retail -- as the discounted OEM license only applies to PCs with Win10 preloaded by HP.

If this were mine, I would return it for a refund -- as you did not expect to have Ubuntu preloaded.
