My laptop won’t turn on. It’s blinking orange and even when I plug it in it continues to do so. Tried holding the power button and then plugged back in but then it only blink’s orange again! Battery does not remove so I couldn’t follow those prompts so I’m at a loss of what else I can do. I’ve tried the trouble shooting I’ve found on here that are available to me and possible to perform when I can’t actually get my laptop to turn on. Someone PLEASE HELP me!!!

Hi @JenelleTiffanyS,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand that you are facing a power/boot issue with your HP Chromebook - 15-De0518wm. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
To assist you better I would require more information regarding this:
- Did any hardware changes take place on the laptop recently?
- Is the power cord connected directly to a working wall outlet?
Meanwhile, I recommend you perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
Step 1: Hard reset
- Power off the laptop.
- Disconnected AC adapter from the laptop.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the battery and plug the AC adapter.
- Power ON the laptop and check.
If the issue still persists, then please follow the steps mentioned in this document: HP Chromebook PCs - Chromebook Is Not Charging or Does Not Turn On
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
