I'm having issues running my laptop....want to do a factory reset...I have tried several times including removing battery and pressing start for 15 secs... I keep getting the sane message " problem resetting PC....no changes made "

Your PC is too old to be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool, and HP no longer sells recovery media for your notebook.
You can reinstall W10 for free by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the Microsoft media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
