HP Notebook - 15-bs107nt

I tried to update the BIOS version for my HP-15bs107nt model laptop for the 832B motherboard via HP's official program. But during the update, the black screen continued for more than 5-10 minutes. And when I tried to turn the laptop off and on again, there was only the fan sound. I would like to know if there is an easy way to solve this problem. If it doesn't work, can I find out where the BIOS chip is for reprogramming?

Please help and thanks in advance

Hi @FurkanYALDAZ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand that while updating the BIOS, your PC screen went blank, and you’re still unable to get back to the Windows screen. I know how concerning this can be, but don’t worry—I’m here to help! Let’s go through some steps to try and resolve this issue.

Try Bios Restore:
1) Shutdown the computer, keep the  charger plugged

2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.

3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B button until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.

4) Follow on-screen instructions and click on OK

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
