HP 14-R207NE

Hello i have a hp 14-r207ne laptop.

this may sound very messy but i'm trying to explain it as clearly and properly as possible.

my laptop won't turn on anymore. when i try to press the on button (with battery in laptop) the red/amber light in the charging port blinks 3 times.

when i remove the battery, and plug the charger in, there is a white light in the charging port but when i try to power on, the light disappears and the laptop fails to power on. the light comes back in a few seconds, but when i try to power on again the same thing happens.

when i plug the charger to my laptop with the battery attached, the charging port light is white even though it's not even fully charged and is actually low battery. the laptop turned on while it was plugged in and with battery attached, but as it is on, the charging port white light blinks continuously and my laptop says it has very low battery. it is plugged in, it has white light,  but it is NOT charging.

my laptop will ONLY turn on if it is plugged in with battery but when it is on, it has really low battery.

please help bc i cannot afford to buy a new one and i have important files saved in here

i tried to hard reset the battery already but nothing works

btw a few days ago it had a windows 10 update but i don't think this is a problem
