HP ENVY 15-u011dx x360 Convertible PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an HP ENVY 15-u011dx x360 Convertible PC (product number G6T85UA#ABA), and I’m trying to locate the latest BIOS update for it. I’ve tried using the AI search function without success and wasn’t able to find anything official through Google either.

The only version I came across was BIOS F.26 A on a third-party website, but I’m unsure if that’s the most recent or trustworthy version.

Could someone please provide a link to the latest official BIOS update?

Thank you in advance!

Hi:

Support for the model series has been retired.

I also found the F.26 BIOS file on the Driverscollection website.

I use that site all the time and never had a problem with that site.

Whether or not that is the last BIOS update HP released for your notebook, I would have no idea since the driver support has been retired and no one else will either.

If your notebook has an older version than F.26, you can update to that version if you wish.

Here are the official HP info and exe file links to the F.26 BIOS update:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp70001-70500/sp70449.html

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp70001-70500/sp70449.exe

Note that the update was written to be run on W8.1 so I don't know what will happen if you run it on W10.

Generally, it's not a problem but you will have to decide what you want to do.

Thanks for the info and the links.

I actually found a newer BIOS version that works—F.41 (date 6/26/2018) Here's the official download link from HP:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp88501-89000/sp88691.exe

It should be compatible with the following models:

HP ENVY x360 Convertible

HP Pavilion 13 Notebook PC

HP Pavilion x360 Convertible Notebook PC

Just wanted to share in case it helps anyone else looking for a more recent version.
