Hi@naporzione,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing Linux Legacy Bios issues with the HP Pavilion 14 Inch Laptop PC.
I have a few recommendations
- When the Startup Menu displays, press F10 to open BIOS Setup. Use the right arrow key to choose the System Configuration menu, use the down arrow key to select Boot Options, then press Enter. Use the down arrow key to select Legacy Support and press Enter, select Disabled if it is enabled and press Enter.
- Power on system. Press F2 when prompted to enter BIOS menu. Navigate to Boot Maintenance Manager -> Advanced Boot Options -> Boot Mode. Select the desired mode: UEFI or Legacy.
- If the bios setting is legacy enabled then hard drives and USB devices will normally boot.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
