HP Pavilion G6 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an old Pavilion G6 Laptop that I'd like to use as a Server, I added more RAM and without any GUI I think the processor would do great with a personal Home Server, however, I need to access the BIOS Power Management Settings to specify wake-up times and RTC alarms; specifically, I want to set the BIOS to automatically boot up the computer upon being powered. Yet I've looked around and can't seem to find any options in the BIOS menu or any help on the net. I appreciate any help provided.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

And, also you can refer to the article: Setting Your PC to Turn On Automatically at a Certain Time (Wake on LAN) (same document for laptop as well)

Please feel free to contact us here anytime you need any further assistance. Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Thank you for replying, but I'm afraid the link you submitted does not apply to my computer's BIOS Menu, there is no such 'advanced' tab nor Power-On Options present

Furthermore, Contact HP Customer Support is of no help since it only links to this community or to HP Service Locator, of which there are none in my current location (Venezuela)
