Hi
I'm trying to locate a complete HP Factory Recovery kit for my 2017 HP Envy AS100 CTLO Laptop my system failed and the USB Flash Drive Purchased from HP is no good and does not contain all pre-installed programs included with HP Factory Installed Systems. I formatted my entiire system meaning all drives where wiped clean.
My only option was to send my pc in for repair. The tech informed me that my HP Flash Drive is no good and doesn't contain everything included with System Factory Recovery which really pisses me off because I got taken for 69.00 by HP for a Cheaply Made, Incomplete, and Corrupted Flash Drive that I've never used.
Now I'm trying to locate the complete HP Factory Recovery Kit (Windows 10 Home & All Pre-installed Programs) for purchase or download. Does HP have this Complete Kiit and can it be downloaded from the HP Website if so please let me know.
TIA

Hi:
HP is only going to have the same recovery kit you purchased and it is highly unlikely they even have it for sale anymore.
Your notebook should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to make a bootable USB recovery drive that should reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is a link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
Whether or not it will have 100% of everything, that I do not know.
Probably not since it is the same thing you paid $69.00 for from HP.
According to the parts list, there are two product numbers for the 15t-As100 CTO.
Since you have to use the utility on another PC if yours is not working, you will need to enter the full and correct product number of your notebook in the tool's search window to proceed with the recovery media creation.
For example, if it is the first product number listed in the parts list...W0Q62AV, you would enter W0Q62AV#ABA in the tool's search window.
I checked both product numbers and they are supported by the cloud recovery tool.

Hi
Thanks so much for your quick reply the product # you listed is the same as my system which i just got back today. The tech in forrmed me that since my HP USB was no good he used his own windows 10 software for the installation. Which means none of the Original HP programs or information that I wanted will be installed. I'm hoping I can get them from the HP Website. I'm very upset with HP for screwing me. This is the first time I've ever had any real problem with my 6yr old system which is great. If I can get 2 more yrs use out of it I'll be doing good.
Thanks

You're very welcome.
The software you will be able to install will be only what is available on the support page.

Otherwise, you can make the bootable recovery drive, use that to factory reset the notebook and hope that has the additional software that won't be on the support page.
