My son entered the wrong email address on the set up page - brand new laptop. I am now locked on screen saying Verify your Identity and it shows How would you like to get your security code? The email address is incorrect though so I can't get the code sent as it then says Your session has timed out. Please restart the process. I can't restart the process though as it's stuck on this screen. Is there any way to just clear all this and start afresh?

Hi
Really brand new? No data to lose?
Consider an F11 re-install?
First:- Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.
Then - Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
Next - Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.
Rinse and Repeat
This hopefully is for your model.
AND/OR - Power on your PC, press (repeatedly), then F11 at the prompt.
Follow the instructions and you get a new "Factory Fresh" operating system.
Make, Model and OS please.
