Whenever I tried to boot my notebook it shows error 301, what does it mean?

Error 301 is  a networking error and it means that the URL you have provided is invalid -- and the website is redirecting the network thread to another site.

 

If you are using an MSN login, this means the site you are sending it to is malfunctioning.

 

I know of no way to fix this, as it is actually not your problem.

Thanx for your reply but the query I asked was not about browsing it was about HDD related... Whenever I tried to boot my laptop it shows message on screen showing that...

I don't recall you mentioning it was a Smart Disk error -- as this means the drive is failing.

 

This nearly always means the primary drive is failing, will need to be replaced, and Windows reinstalled on the PC.
