Hello community,  I have been looking on the site for Windows 7 32 bit drivers for my HP Pavilion 17-g132ds laptop.  I have not been able to find anything for this model.  I have a bunch of software that only works on 32 bit OS' and I have a lot of unknown devices in Dev Manager.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi:

Your notebook is only supported by HP for W10 64 bit.

Since I have no idea what drivers you are missing, I will need that information from you.

But before you do that, here are some basic drivers to get your notebook connected to the internet and whatnot.

Here is the link to the W7 Wi-Fi driver:  Download that from another PC, copy the driver to a USB flash drive, plug the flash drive into your notebook's one available USB 2 port and run it.

Realtek RTL8xxx Series Wireless LAN Drivers

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp96501-97000/sp96873.exe

After you are connected to the internet, install the W7 32 bit AMD chipset driver from the link below and restart the PC.

That will install some motherboard drivers including the USB 3 ports.

970 Drivers (amd.com)

Graphics:  Install the W7 32 bit driver and restart the PC.

A4-6210 with Radeon™ R3 Graphics Drivers (amd.com)

Audio:  Accept the agreement.  Download the Windows 32-bit driver and restart the PC.

Realtek

Ethernet.  Download, unzip and run the setup application from the Windows driver.

Realtek

You should be able to use the W10 touchpad driver from your notebook's support page.

Here's what the release notes indicate that are inside the actual driver folder:

Synaptics Driver Release Notes for HP Consumer

OS: 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
Languages Supported: English, Arabic, Portuguese (Brazil), Croatian, Czech, Danish, French, French Canadian, Finnish, Greek, German, Hungarian, Indonesian, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish (Mexico), Dutch, Norwegian Bokmal, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Slovakian, Spanish (Spain), Slovenian, Thai, Turkish, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

Synaptics TouchPad Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81891.exe

That should be most of the major drivers.

I will need you to post the device descriptions and hardware ID's for any remaining drivers you need to install.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:
