Help, please!  I just opened the box of my new Hp 15 PC Laptop to start loading it up when a home emergency erupted forcing me to stop.  When I returned to the task,  I completely forgot the log-on pin number I created and now I can't go any further.  How can I get the system to allow me to change that pin now?  The laptop is unusable!  Thank you to any and all who may have encountered the same situation and can SAVE me!

Hi penny,

Sorry to hear that you're facing an issue with your new laptop.However, If you have forgotten the pin or password then you can take your data backup and reset your laptop you can follow this article for the reset process,

Do select second option.
