I am not technical. Issue my computer ended (HPENVY 750-555QE) 8/2/18. However, I do not understand why I only have 1.04 GB left out of 10.4 GB on the recovery in my computer?
It would be great if you could tell me if this is a general issue with this model HPEnvy?
And if you would please, how may I keep the integrity of the computer and possibly delete the overflow of whatever is binding up my D drive.
Thanks so much to all you at HP.
Sandy

Hello @Sandy721
Thank you for coming back at the HP Support Community. Thank you for choosing HP as your notebook - this model you have is a great peace of hardware.
The purpose of the Recovery (D:) is to store all the files needed to do an emergency recovery when the system become unstable. The Recovery (D:) drive is a virtual drive - actually it is a partition on the main hard drive in your computer - not an actual physical drive. It has much less available space than primary Drive (C:). Usually C is used for the main operating system.
If you use the Recovery (D:) drive to store files (such as files from using MS Backup), the drive quickly becomes full and can cause serious problems when you need to use system recovery.
- The information on 😧 is not critical , it can be eliminated but in case you want to use this HP capability, you will not be able to via the built-in recovery. If you want to regain these 10 GB, let me know.
- If you get a low disk space warning for D:\, read these :

Let me know how it goes.
