Good Day!
I have 2 of these Mobile Thin Clients, the MT42, (part # X9U57UT) that I would like to upgrade to Win10 Iot.
They ship with Win7 IoT 32bit. I have a Win10 Enterprise license for each machine. I was able to download the Win10 Image using the ThinUpdate tool (2.6.6) on to a USB key but it fails during install with the message "The system does not have a License for the Image OS". I do not have the ability to install the License Key in advance of the install (as far as I can see). I believe these systems came with either OS and are compatible with Win10, I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas on a) whether this is possible to upgrade to Win10 and b) if so what steps i can take to accomplish this! Thanks in advance!
Andrew

I don't use this, so all I can do is offer this thread -- but if you read the comments from Computer Bloke, it says you can't do that update, instead, you have to do a clean install: https://www.technibble.com/forums/threads/upgrading-win7-embedded-to-win10.81533/
