I need help with my Hard disk. I am using a mechanical 500 G Hard Disk and made a repair and fix earlier on the Hard disk and no more errors showed up after doing so. Today, I did the Hard disk check with HP after reboot. I got these messages after did the check extensive scan on Hard disk:
Smart Check : PASSED
Long DST : FAILED
Failure ID : M4PRWK-9GN601-MFGJXG-61B103
Product ID : E2H04EA#ABV
Hard Drive 1
Now, I wonder about these. Does It is a broken Hard disk and I should change to ssd?
Does It is related to Time and date the hard disk failure as when I reopen laptop after I close the next day. It shows the date and Time are changed " although I changed the CMOS battery already with a new one".
Thanks and wish to get a reply soon .

Hello @Joe7940
Generally this product can be replaced with an SSD (SATA III) instead of the HD.
Use a 512GB one which is more guaranteed

Hello @Joe7940 , how are you ?
Your answer is correct, it really is a disk failure.
It has to be replaced.
If it is under warranty, you can contact the manufacturer. If not, you can purchase one of your choice and exchange it
