Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Would like to install more memory to speed things up a bit.  Currently i have one 8G and one 4G.    Product ID is 1wp51ua#aba.    How much will this laptop handle?  TIA

It has  12 GB DDR4-2133 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB, 1 x 8 GB) now and supports 16GB max. You can replace 4GB with SAME 8GB on other slot or

                     https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfs824a/ct11054248  (will run at 2133MHz)

 

From 12GB to 16GB probably you can't see much improvement. Upgrading 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA to 1TB 2.5" SSD may help more. If you wish, please use

        https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/860evo/
   Or similar from reputable vendors.
