HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer

New 9015 replacement printer. Connected it and it was working ok. It is connected to my desktop. Wife uses ipad. She has had trouble with sizing her printouts, her only available option is letter size. This is an incidental problem. The main problem is the printer screen started popping up with the message: Without an internet connection, you may lose the ability to print soon. Printer is connected to modem with ethernet cable, wife's Ipad has wifi. It was working fine until a few days ago.
