Micosoft Outlook
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hello everyone.

When I try to open MS Outlook I get an error message that it cannot open the pst file.  I tried follow other instructions for earlier versions - for example deleting the pst file reference. But when I try to open again the file is recreated but still cannot be opened (get the error message again).  How open pst file without outlook?

Thanks for any help you can provide

Hi,

Exit Outlook and do one of the following:
Browse to C:\Program Files.
or
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86). In the Search box, type SCANPST.EXE.  Сhoose Repair to start the process to fix them.

If it useless try this app PST Open File Tool https://www.openfiletool.com/pstopen.html This application protects the privacy of user information and does not forward your personal data to some kind of external services for PST file analysis.
