Hi please can someone help me how to fix this? I tried contacting HP Support thru WhatsApp but their customer service representative made it much worse. I am so frustrated, I've been having this problem for the past 2 months after I've updated to the F.09 BIOS update, tried updating to the latest F.10 BIOS but I still have the same problem. It is already affecting my working hours. Thank you so much if any one can help me!

Hi @Axia_plays

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the concern with your HP Victus 15‑fb2077x experiencing micro‑freezing after the BIOS updates. Thank you for sharing the details about the BIOS versions you’ve tried—that helps us focus on the right area.

Let’s go through recommended steps to stabilize the system:

Step 1: Reset BIOS Settings to Default

  1. Power on the notebook and immediately press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.
  2. In BIOS, press F9 to load defaults.
  3. Press F10 to save and exit.

Step 2: Update Chipset and Graphics Drivers

Step 3: Run HP App Diagnose & Fix

  1. Open the HP App from Windows.
  2. Select Diagnose & Fix.
  3. Allow the tool to scan and automatically repair system issues.

Step 4: Perform a Hardware Reset

  1. Shut down the notebook.
  2. Disconnect the power adapter.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the adapter and power on.

Step 5: Verify Windows Updates

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and ensure all updates are installed, including optional driver updates.

These steps should help reduce or eliminate the freezing behavior. If the issue persists after completing them, please let me know the exact point at which the freeze occurs (for example, during idle, while gaming, or after waking from sleep). That detail will allow us to refine the next set of steps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
