I'm getting way too many crashes with the original installed software. How would I do the cleanest possible Windows 10 (64) installation that still supports the hardware features, like fingerprint, gestures and pen?

I'm talking about installing on a freshly-formatted drive.

I don't know what is Minimal Windows 10, and Microsoft does not give options during the installation. You machine is very new therefore drivers for it should be all available from HP support site.

Ah, I wasn't talking about something named Minimal Windows 10, just the simplest installation I can arrange, so there's a little as possible that could hang up. I'm guessing that some of HP's additional software is making problems, so I'll just do a clean install of the basic Windows 10. I guess I was hoping there was a stripped-down version of Windows 10 in general, leaving out superfluous services, but probably not.

Thanks,

Drew
