Product: DV4-1430us
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I just clean installed W7 Home Premeuim after a failed W10 attempt, it seems that I'm missing  three 'base system device drivers'. I went to the HP page where the drivers usually are, but I dont see any downloads.

 

If the download page comes back are the mystery BSD drivers there? Windows update cant seem to find them.

You need this driver for the card reader (Base System Dev):

 

This package contains the driver for the JMB38X Card Reader Host Controller in
the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems. The JMB38X Card
Reader supports the following media types: SD, MS, MMC, and xD.

Thanks, that solved that problem.

 

Now there  is a bunch of drivers that are out of date, and windows update is stuck checking for updates.
