HP 255 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Community,

This laptop was incredibly slow right from the beginning, even before I installed Internet security and Anti-virus. I should of returned it immediately and now the guarantee has expired since a few days. I updated the 4GB ram to 8GB because 4GB is totally  inefficient  for Windows 10 and I'm surprised HP offers such a meager ram on such a system. The updated ram did improve matters somewhat but far from the desired affect. I have in the meantime re-installed Windows 10 and updated frequently. This laptop is absolute rubbish, I think my first PC with a tiny 66 Mhz CPU was faster. My question is: Am I right in assuming a vital organ i.e, the CPU, or similar,  is a bad model. Obviously HP are not giving me any info regarding faulty standard hardware that they have designed and installed in this model. Hope someone can shed some light on the problem. Best regards to all ...Sinclair
