Ok, after doing a windows update, I'm getting an error message upon restart that the bios updated failed.
So, I go to download the bios file, and this is where the confusion starts.
The pc itself, under System Info, says its an HP 14-ek0xxx
On the HP Support page, when I click "detect device," it comes up as 4-ek0013dx (691L0UA).
Seeing as how I'm dealing with a bios info, I want to make sure that I'm downloading tre correct file. So, are these the same thing, and I'm good to go ahead with the support page says, or should I stick to the other one (assuming I can find it)?
Also, on the software driver support page, there are about 44 software and driver updates that are suggested I download. Some look like really important, others I wonder if I really need them.
All help is greatly appreciated.
