ELAN Touch-pad just doesn't respond to multi-finger gestures in Windows 11. It works properly in any Linux distributions but is useful only for pointing in Windows. I have tried out HP support Assistant. I had contacted HP customer care. I have been searching online for a solution for a long time now. HP official support website doesn't even provide Windows 11 driver support yet. It's just too disappointing to see this happen only in HP laptops. It works fine in Dell laptops after OS upgrade. I bought HP laptop only considering that customer support would be good. But this is too disappointing.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing touchpad issues with your HP Notebook.
I suggest that you follow steps to uninstall and reinstall touchpad drivers:
1. Press Windows key + X, and select Device Manager.
2. Click to expand Mice and other pointing devices.
3. Right-click the touchpad and click uninstall.
4. Restart your device and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
