I am looking for support on BitLocker Key Issue.
I have bit locker key issue on brand new laptop purchased 6 months back the screen went blank after spending several hours with HP, Microsoft and JL on phone trying all the recovery options. I have asked JL to recover my data and reset the laptop to factory.
JL has asked me to share the bitlocker key and I did so. To my surprise, they came back and asked me to share a second bit locker key as there are multiple partitions created on the laptop.
I have logged into the Microsoft account and all i could see for the devices that's mapped to my account shows only one bitlocker key.
Can someone help me, how to recover this i tried with Microsoft and couldn't get any help related to this topic. And struggling to understand why would it create to bitlocker keys, irrespective of number of partitions in layman terms my assumption for each laptop/Harddisk there will be only one Bitlocker key.
Thanks for your advise in advance.

@sman123 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are stuck in BitLocker while you have not set up the BitLocker.
Do not worry. I will try to help you.
BitLocker is a Microsoft software designed to protect your PC against offline attacks, unauthorized access typically if your PC gets stolen. BitLocker is full disk encryption software. More info:

BitLocker was activated by someone on this PC and during the activation time it prompts the user to save/store the key in a safe place.
If this is company owned asset/device, you should turn to your company's IT support guys and they should be able to provide you with the recovery key
If this is your own personal device, and if you don't know your recovery key, most probably you use a slightly different BitLocker version for certain PCs and tablets known as Device encryption. Your key might be stored in Microsoft OneDrive with your Microsoft account here :

Try these and let me know if you manage to find the key.
If you don't find your key, there is no way to unlock the data on the hard disk drive and you will need to format it and reimage/reinstall Windows.

@praveen196 - Thanks for getting back.
My HardDrive on the PC has multiple partitions (i.e., Drives C,D,E)
I have access to the Bitlocker recovery key which i am able to retrive from microsoft portal account, However, this is giving access to only one partition i.e. Drive C.
In order to access other drives it looks like it has created multiple other bitlocker recover keys, and these are not visible in microsoft portal account.
Question:
1. Why am i having multiple bitlocker keys for a hard drive irrespective of no.of partitions created. Is this a microsoft bug or expected ?
2. with help of technician he was able to provide the bitlocker Key Id for the second partition. How to get the bitlocker recovery key now for the second partition (drive?) ?
