My Battery life span seems to be reduced

For a few months my pc would suddenly shut down even when it's at more than 50% charge and then when I plug it the charger and switch it on, it will show 0% battery charge(plugged in). After that now my pc won't even stay on for more than 4-5 mins and after some research and hp battery scanning, it shows that my battery life span has been reduced due to usage and ageing, my warranty period is over, what can I do to solve my current issue?
