I got a virus on my HP Notebook-da0002dx computer that bricked my computer and my warranty is expired on it. Is there a way to buy a warranty on my H.P. notebook and get my computer repaired by a human so I can use it again? I have a college class that is coming up in a few weeks and I need a computer before my class starts. I don't have a lot of money to afford another H.P. computer. I tried contacting H.P. through calling and could not find a human to talk to me. I got a useless robot trying to talk to me instead of a human, which is why I'm frustrated.

Hi:
I have never heard of a virus completely wrecking a PC to the point where it won't turn on.
If you can turn on the PC, press/tap the ESC key immediately after turning on the notebook.
There should be a menu of options, one of them being a F11 recovery option,
Select that option and see if you can recover the PC to its factory settings.
If you can turn on the PC and get to that menu, but can't recover it, use the HP cloud recovery tool with another working windows PC to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility...

It did completely wreck my P.C. and now I can't even use the recovery options because the virus wiped my hard drive clean and now I can't use recovery media tools to get my computer fixed. I need people to repair my computer because my hard drive is bricked, which is why I would need to buy a warranty and have people physically repair the inside of my computer because I need to replace the bricked hard drive in my computer. I've tried pressing F11 and using recovery options, and it doesn't work for my situation. By the way, I can turn on my P.C. but it is bricked until a get a new hard drive on it.
