My HP probook 447 G7 laptop has been stuck at 100% for well over 2 hours while updating the “Camera controller firmware from version 014 to version 017” I have nou clue what i’m supposed to do, I cant turn it off or anything, nothing works.

I had the same issue with a HP Probook 450 G7.
The camera firmware update was stuck at 100% for hours. I was forced to do a "hard power off" to shut it down even the warning says to not do so.
- You have to maintain the power on/off button pressed until the laptop / desktop shuts down completely (approx. 10 sec.).
- Once it has powered off, push again the power on/off button to power it on.
- The update process then continues normally.
Hope it helps.

Thanks SIR1020
Your remedy also solved the same problem today with my HP Probook 450 G7. It was frozen for 16 hours on the camera controller firmware update version 017 at 100%.
On restarting, the Probook turned itself on and off several times and did a complete BIOS update (S71 ver 01.12.00 - 01/12/2022) before Windows 10 eventually came back. All now seems ok.
Thanks again.
