Envy 13-ad015na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. When I start my Envy laptop the power switch comes on, it then shows the hp logo and then is a blank screen, where it remains even after leaving for 10minutes. I have tried switching off and on again but it gets to the blank screen and stays there. The power button remain lit through out. I have seen in the community that someone switched off and removed battery. after a few seconds reconnected battery and it starts up. I cannt see how to remove the battery. If I open the screws will that not invalidate the warranty?

To answer your question, removing the screws and opening the case does not, and and of itself, void the warranty -- but -- your PC came with a Lithium Ion battery (same type used in cell phones) and those are usually NOT removable.
