Product: HP laptop 15-db0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer will only charge when it's off. I tried the BIOS driver trouble shooting. The charging icon only flashed on and off during the download of the BIOS driver. I also tried the battery driver uninstallation and  reinstallation as well as the embedded controller driver. Battery is built in. What now? Do I need a new built in battery?

Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
