Hey, 

I bought my laptop about 2 years ago, and today I am having a problem. Everything was working fine until I tried opening my laptop today and noticed that it wasn't turning on. 

 

The Caps Lock is giving me an indication of some sort, and I'm not sure what to do: 

It's a 3 short blink, with a rapid 5 blinks after. 

 

I tried taking the battery out and turning the computer on with the adapter, it wasn't the battery. 

I tried resetting the ram, that didn't work either. 


Help I'm lost.

This is a Hardware issue. Please contact HP Support for Service Options

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
