Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My HP elitebook 840 g5 shuts down automatically when battery percent is almost 20% or more(when laptop is not plugged)...now should i change the battery or should i take any other step to solve this problem?

Hi, @kasper0097 I think it shut down at 20% because it may be the laptop's way of preserving the life of your battery, so before it reaches 20% plug in your charger so you don't wear out your battery. Also, the battery shutting down at that percentage will most likely be a battery settings in battery manager.
