Hello @Memaw11 .
*HP does not capture or retain any BIOS password data, so hp cannot retrieve your local BIOS password.
*HP can remove the password through a service on the notebook.
*You can contact HP technical support to set it up. Options vary by location and warranty status (a service charge may apply).
