I have an HP 15 TS notebook (with a broken screen) and I normally use a monitor with it, but yesterday when I booted it up, it didn't boot to Windows. Luckily, my broken screen is still partially viewable, and I saw it say 'Diagnosing your PC,' and then it went to another screen (this one blue) with all it could see is the partial word 'options.' I googled this screen and was able to find out what was on the screen. By a lucky guess with the mouse, I was able to click 'Restart PC' (I think that's what it was). But this then just led to it 'Diagnosing my PC' again. Then it went to the same blue screen. I then (with another lucky guess) went to 'advanced recovery options' (and using another google image) and tried 'Continue to Windows 10,' which was unsuccessful with another 'Diagnose' of my PC and the blue recovery screen. I then wanted to try System Restore because every time I install drivers I do a System Restore point. But then I clicked on System Restore (from first blue screen, then advanced recovery options, recover my pc, System Restore) and it showed up with another blue screen that I didn't know what it was. There was a cancel button and something else and with a lucky click, I click on the other button next to Cancel. Then it said 'Scanning PC for errors,' and then after a while 'Attempting repairs, this could take a while' at which time I left it to do it's thing and went to bed. In the morning it was back on the blue screen. I am writing this because I need help. I could reset my PC using a backup from about a week ago, but the only thing is I can't see what I'm clicking, so I could accidentally click on 'Erase everything' without reinstalling Windows 10, and not having an operating system on my PC.
