Hi! So my laptop died while I was in class today and I went back to my room and plugged it in and clicked the power button. But my screen is black and my power button won’t turn off. I have held it for more an 15 seconds to try and tell my computer to shut down but it won’t. So now i have a black screen and the power button on. My computer is unplugged so I am hoping that it will just die and let me try again but I’m not sure. What do I do?

I suggest you perform a Power Drain and try getting to BIOS

You can refer to this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01684768 for help with the Power Drain

If you are unable to get to BIOS, I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options

Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ and select your Country to get the Contact details for HP Support
