My HP pavilion shows an ACPI BIOS ERROR and continuously tries to auto repair

Following a sudden power loss my hp pavilion shows an ACPI BIOS ERROR i have followed instructions and have tried a usb recovery. But the repair/rest installation screen does not load and returns to auto repair. Is there anything else I can try

You didn't post the model number which is an important item of information needed in order to fix that problem.

If your notebook is a 15-abxxx, 17-gxxx or a 17-pxxx model with an AMD processor and chipset, the ACPI BIOS error can be resolved by going into the BIOS>Security menu>find the TPM device and change the setting from Available to Hidden.

Save the setting and you should not get that error anymore.

According to the product number you posted, your notebook's model is a HP Pavilion 15-ab150sa.

It is one of those in the 15-abxxx model series that I mentioned yesterday.

Follow the instructions I posted yesterday to hide the TPM device and the problem should be resolved.

To access the BIOS, turn on or restart the PC.

Immediately tap...tap...tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.

Select the F10 setup option and press the Enter key.

Now you should be in the PC's BIOS where you can make the change.
