Hi @Emanuela_sara00,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Spectre x360 is facing a power or hardware issue, especially since it's not charging or showing any indication of power.

May I know

Do you see an HP Logo when you try to turn on the unit and then the screen goes blank or blue screen, Blue screen Have observed any error messages?

Or the unit is not turning On at all

Do you see a light glowing on the power button next to the charging port?

Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check for any physical damage:

  • Ensure that there is no visible damage to the charging port or cable. Sometimes, bent or damaged ports/cables can prevent proper charging.

2. Perform a hard reset:

  • Disconnect the charger and any other connected peripherals.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Release the button and try to connect the charger again to see if the charging light turns on or if the laptop powers up.

3. Test with a different charger:

  • If possible, try using another charger that's compatible with your HP Spectre x360 to rule out a faulty power adapter.

4. Check the charging port:

  • Make sure the charging port is clear of any dust or debris that might be obstructing the connection. You can gently blow into the port or use compressed air to clean it.

5. Inspect the power button:

  • Sometimes, the power button may become stuck or unresponsive. Press it firmly to see if it responds after performing the above steps.

6. Check for charging indicator on BIOS:

  • If the laptop powers on but the battery doesn’t charge, enter the BIOS by pressing F2 or ESC repeatedly when starting the device, and check if the system is detecting the battery. If it isn’t, the battery may need to be replaced.

7. Disconnect the battery (if possible):

  • If you're comfortable, try disconnecting the internal battery by opening the laptop and reseating the battery cable (only do this if you're comfortable opening the laptop or have someone who can assist you).

8. Try an external monitor (if the laptop has some power):

  • If the charging light shows but the laptop doesn't seem to turn on, try connecting it to an external monitor to rule out any display issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
