My Hp spectre is not turning on/charging. There’s no light coming on the side of the charging port and when I press the power button, the white light turns on on the power button for 5 secs and then it just turns off. It has been only one month since I bought it and the same situation was with my previous Hp spectre.Pls give me a solution asap because there were very important files in that laptop and now it’s just not turning on.

Hi @Nitin122,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP Spectre X360. Here are steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
Check Power Connection:
- Make sure the power adapter is properly connected to both the laptop and a working power outlet.
- Try a different power outlet to rule out issues with the outlet.
Hard Reset:
- Disconnect the power adapter and any other external devices.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to perform a hard reset.
- Reconnect the power adapter and try turning on the laptop.
Battery Reset:
- If your laptop has a non-removable battery, you can perform a battery reset:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Disconnect the power adapter.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power adapter and turn on the laptop.
Check for Physical Damage:
- Inspect the power adapter, charging cable, and the charging port on the laptop for any physical damage.
BIOS Update:
- Check if there are any BIOS updates available for your laptop model on the HP support website. Updating the BIOS can sometimes resolve power-related issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
