I turn on my laptop and am met with a black screen and the messages, boot device not found, and please please install an operating system on your hard disk. I haven't deleted my OS and am unsure as to why it has done so.
It does have this failure id:60FATH-8M49R6-GXGGQJ-6OR7O3

Hi:
The error code translates to one word. Failed.
Most likely that means the hard drive has failed.
The first thing I would try is to make a bootable W10 installation flash drive using the media creation tool from the link below, and see if you can reinstall windows.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
If W10 can't install, then the next step would be to replace the hard drive and reinstall the operating system.
Here is the link to the service manual where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
