My OMEN 15 Gaming laptop is capped at 60 fps on every single game, it was fine earlier running smooth and fine but i clicked something and i do not know how to fix it.

Welcome to HP Support Community. 

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 

 

I see that you are facing issues with HP Laptop.

 

When you start your pc Tap on F8 key to bring up the advanced mode menu (You will have to keep tapping on F8 after your pc start and BIOS screen passes, and before windows xp screen), Select VGA Mode (If available) and hit enter. This will start your pc in VGA Diagnostic mode, You should be able to see your screen and login. After login click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced -> Monitor and select 60 from the dropdown box.

Click ok on all the screen. Perform normal reboot and see if it works.

 

If you dont get option for VGA Mode, select safe mode and perform the above to see if it works
