I have an omen 15. I bought it four years ago and now I am having blue screen and crashing issues.  I have done a factory reset but I am not sure I have up loaded the correct software from windows and HP.  I am going to do another factory reset and would like to do know what steps I should take to make sure I upload what I need correctly so I don't get the same issues I have now.  Right now my system lags and won't open apps or wifi  at all or is really slow in opening.  Very choppy and lag is horrible.  My computer was running great before, and I use it mostly for work.  I don't go gaming on it right now I would like some help in making sure I go through the process of resetting and uploading the software and drivers correctly.  Please give me some advice.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with performing a recovery on your PC/Laptop.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.

Please follow the steps below to perform an extensive system test to confirm if the hardware is working fine.

1) Shut down the computer.

2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.

3) Press F2 once.

4) Go to the system test > extensive test

If the issue still persists, click on this link to perform a recovery on your Laptop.  (Take a backup of the data before performing a recovery)

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
