@TLF2025, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Chromebook x360 Power Issues!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your Chromebook x360 isn't powering up and the light is flashing amber and white despite being charged for over 24 hours, it suggests a battery or power-related problem. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
Perform a Visual Inspection:
- Check for any physical damage to the charging port or signs of oxidation.
- Inspect the device for any cracks in the display or other physical damages.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off the Chromebook completely.
- Press and hold the Refresh button, then press the Power button while continuing to hold the Refresh button.
- Release the Refresh button once the Chromebook powers on.
Battery Indicator Light Status:
- Amber: The battery is charging.
- White: The battery is fully charged.
- If the light is blinking amber, it may indicate a battery error, requiring further inspection.
Verify Battery Charging Status:
- Ensure the battery isn't in a deep discharge state. Charge the device uninterrupted for a longer period.
- If the Chromebook doesn’t turn on, periodically press the Power button to check if it's receiving charge.
Test the Battery:
- Install the HP Support Assistant extension via the Chrome Web Store.
- Use the HP Support Assistant to run a battery check and diagnose any battery issues.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
