Hi,

What happens when you press the power button? (black screen, error ...)

What is the model number or product number of your machine?

model

By complete reset do you mean reinstalling the OS? Do you mean a power reset?

Have you tried performing HP Hardware diagnostics?

Try turning off the PC by holding the power button until complete shutdown. Press the power button and repeatedly keep hitting ESC until the startup menu appears.

Next press F2 to enter diagnostics. Try performing the short system test. See if it performs the hard drive test too.

Let me know,

David

Hi, thanks you answering!
I have tried to restart it and the it asked me it I want to shut down the computer or it I want a complete system reset or advancer option (which I’ve now tried almost everything besides the complete system reset)

and I don’t wanna loose everything on the computer so I’m hoping there’s another option that that.
I’ll try to restart it and press the esc bottom and see what happens

OK.

The model number of the notebook is HP ENVY Laptop - 15-ep0813no

Great machine you have there.

It has a PCIe NVMe SSD so probably not a drive problem.

Now if you reset the PC in the Windows advanced options boot menu you will be given the option to keep your personal files. You will need to reinstall the software.
