@Ximenamgd, Hi there, and welcome to HP Support Community!

Thank you for reaching out with your concern. I'm glad to assist you today.

I'm really sorry to hear you're experiencing this frustrating issue with your HP laptop. I understand how important your device is, and I’m here to help you get it back up and running smoothly.

The blue screen you're seeing is commonly known as a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), and it usually indicates a system error. Let’s go through a few steps to diagnose and resolve the issue:

Disable Automatic Restart

This will help us read the error message on the blue screen.

  1. Turn on your laptop and press F8 repeatedly before the Windows logo appears.
  2. Choose "Disable automatic restart on system failure" from the Advanced Boot Options.
  3. Note down the STOP code or error message when the blue screen appears again.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

Let’s check if there’s a hardware issue.

  1. Turn off the laptop.
  2. Press the power button, then immediately press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  3. Press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
  4. Run the System Tests (especially Memory and Hard Drive tests).

Boot into Safe Mode

This helps isolate software issues.

  1. Restart your laptop and press F8 repeatedly.
  2. Select Safe Mode with Networking.
  3. If it boots successfully, try uninstalling any recently installed software or drivers.

Perform a System Restore

If the issue started recently, a restore might help.

  1. In Safe Mode, search for "System Restore" in the Start menu.
  2. Follow the prompts to restore your system to a point before the issue began.

Update Drivers and Windows

Outdated drivers can cause BSODs.

If the suggestions helped solve the problem, please let us know by clicking “Accepted Solution.” It really helps fellow users find quick answers.

A quick “Yes” also goes a long way in showing appreciation!

Take care and happy computing!

Best regards,

Max3Aj
